The preparation for the Australasian College for Infection Prevention and Control National Conference is underway and looking like a great event!
The Conference is due to take place at The Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre on 8 – 11 October 2012.

On Tuesday 10 July 2012, members of the ACIPC Scientific Committee came together for the program build. Details are currently being finalised and those who submitted an abstract will be notified by mid next week.Program

The ACIPC National Conference 2012 will contain many internationally respected speakers that will ensure a state-of-the-art, evidence-based and cutting-edge event. One of our international speakers is Emma Burnett.Emma is a Lecturer and Researcher in Infection Prevention at the University of Dundee, School of Nursing & Midwifery following 13 years as an Infection Prevention and Control Nurse in a variety of acute and community settings. Emma is also a member of the Infection Prevention Society Research and Development Committee. Her research interests include patient/public experiences, the media, education & professional development and patient safety. Emma’s PhD explores risk perceptions and responses of the public, healthcare and media professionals towards Clostridium difficile.
