    Hello IPC Friends,

I’m reaching out to you on a bit of a different subject.
Does anybody of you have experienced/experiencing damage/theft to their
ABHR dispensers and/or content being stolen within a healthcare facility?

I would like to talk to somebody who has experience with this issue.
We have several strategies developed but I would like to reach out to IPC
colleagues to see if there is something we can do that we haven’t thought
    of.
My report so far is that this apparently ‘only’ happens here in our
facility, but actually, I can’t quite believe that. So, I just like to ask
you all that question. My contact details are:

I am located in central Victoria we havent had the issue of ABHR being stolen however we also have people with Dementia where one did remove the bottle from the original dispenser. We purchased clear Perspex holders which made it a lot more difficult to remove. This worked for us however we are also aged care.

Is it staff or visitors removing it If you gave CCTV maybe some more visible signs that the areas are monitored may help.

It is very frustrating when these things happen.

    Kind regards
