A Message from the AICA National Consultative Steering Committee
Consultative Round 4 – Open Community Consultation
The AICA National Consultative Steering Committee (NCSC) is pleased to
inform you that Consultative Round 4 – Open Community Consultation has
now commenced.
Key to this round is:
-The completion of Version 2 of the New National Body for
Infection Prevention and Control White Paper
-Draft Constitution for the New National Body
Both of these documents are now ready for review and comment and can be
downloaded from the NCSC website click HERE
or just
visit http://www.icaustralia.com.au
Your feedback is sought on these documents, and can be provided via an
online survey also available from the NCSC website HERE
. The online
survey also provides you with an opportunity to nominate your preferred
name for the New National Body. The NCSC strongly encourages all
feedback on all aspects of these documents.
THE ONLINE SURVEY CLOSES AT MIDNIGHT FRIDAY 19TH AUGUST 2011.
THIS IS THE LAST CHANCE TO PROVIDE STRUCTURED FEEDBACK TO THE NCSC.
Soon to be posted on the NCSC website will be a ‘Road Map’ which will
outline the processes and timeframes required to be undertaken by each
existing State And Territory Association to move forward with the
proposal of a New National Body. This document will also be accompanied
by an FAQ section.
If you would like to provide feedback, but not through the online
survey, then please go to the “Feedback Area” of the NCSC website click
HERE
Once all feedback has been reviewed and collated, the NCSC will make
final amendments to both documents, which will then be provided to the
AICA Executive for presentation to the membership in late September
2011.
At this stage, the NCSC would like to acknowledge the extraordinary
cooperation and input from each of the State and Territory Associations
and their membership during the previous three consultation rounds. The
level of enthusiasm for a New National Body provided by formal feedback
from individual members and through Association’s Executive is most
encouraging.
The NCSC would also like to acknowledge the cooperation and support
received form AICA Executive during the previous consultation rounds. We look forward to your participation in this exciting stage.
