Our overseas speakers will talk on the following topics:
Understanding prion disease, advancements in diagnostic tools, Clinical challenges and research for genetic prion disease and an overview of Prion 2016 held in Tokyo in May.
Our Australian experts and researchers will talk on the following topics:
Surveillance in Australia, challenges and advancements. Understanding the need for neuropathological investigation and the introduction of new resources to assist with a better understanding of genetic testing, care of a patient and the CJD and infection control guidelines.
Our research team will update on current research work in Australia and acknowledge the tremendous support of families donating via the CJD Support Group Network.
The round tables during the afternoon session will provide time for one on one discussions with the presenters.Thank you
