    Good morning Everyone,

    I have a question that I hope my colleagues working in paediatrics could answer for me.

    We are currently building a playground with a soft fall cover on the ground.

    We were advised to have a floor waste on the soft fall in the play croft area as the soft fall product is very porous any fluid or vomit that may end up on the surface will go straight to the bottom of the soft fall and sit in the bottom of the recess.

    Another proposal was to waterproof the recess, have a floor waste in the center of the recess and top the recess for falls to the floor waste.

    Is there anyone who had dealt with a similar project in the past and could let me know the risk as well as how you’ve managed the risk of the porous soft fall.
