2024 Notice of Annual General Meeting
Dear Members,
Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of the Australasian College for Infection Prevention and Control Ltd will be held on Tuesday 19 November commencing at 5:15 pm (AEDT) at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. The meeting will be streamed on Zoom and Members will be sent registration details prior to the meeting.

2024 ACIPC AGM – Notice of AGM
At the AGM members will have the opportunity to:
- find out about the College’s operations and finances
- ask questions about the College’s operations and finances
- speak about any items on the agenda
- vote on any resolutions proposed
At the meeting members will be asked to vote on resolutions to:
- accept the minutes of the last Annual General Meeting
- accept the annual report
- accept the auditor’s report and annual financial statements
- appoint an auditor
- appoint Directors

Election of Board Directors
Following the call for nominations, the Board received and accepted four nominations from suitable candidates for the role of a Director of the Australasian College of Infection Prevention and Control Ltd (ABN 61 154 341 036). Members who were interested in standing for the role of a Director were invited to submit a nomination by 30 September. The Board resolved to fill three positions on the board at the 2024 AGM. As such, the board further resolved to hold an election of members prior to the 2024 AGM to determine the candidates to be elected to the board at the 2024 AGM.
Eligible members will be able to vote for three of the four candidates in an online election that will close at 12 noon on 4 November. Details of the election and profiles of the candidates will be distributed to members by Monday 14 October.

Erica Beukers, Ann Whitfield, and Peta-Ann Zimmerman are current directors whose terms expire at 2024 AGM and are eligible for re-election.

Annual Reports
2024 EGM
An Extraordinary General Meeting of members was held on Monday 19 August 2024 at 12.30 pm AEST to vote on the adoption of a new constitution. During the EGM the resolutions were carried and a new constitution was adopted. The constitution was updated to improve the governance of ACIPC and to ensure that the constitution remains compliant with the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) and the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission Act 2012 (Cth).
