This guidance explains how aged care organisations and providers can implement policies and practices to meet the requirements of the Antimicrobial Stewardship Clinical Care Standard. This resource is an important addition to the existing suite of Antimicrobial Stewardship (AMS) resources in aged care. It provides guidance on the roles and responsibilities of clinicians in providing and supporting best practice in AMS in residential, community and home-based settings.
