The Department of Health and Aged Care has pledged to work closely with aged care providers and workers to allow for a smooth transition from 1 July 2025.

Minister for Aged Care, Anika Wells, said:

‘“The new Aged Care Act is the final piece of the puzzle to create a better way of caring for older people both today and into the future.”
