It’s World Immunisation Week from 24 to 30 April, highlighting the collective action needed to promote vaccines in protecting people of all ages against disease.
Immunisation has a vital role in preventing infections in hospitals, residential facilities and community. With vaccines increasingly developed to match the viruses that are circulating, immunisation provides our best defence against the effects of disease.
