The National Centre for Antimicrobial Stewardship (NCAS) has released its seminar series for 2025.
Each month’s seminar examines AMS in a different setting. February’s seminar focuses on paediatrics and will be held at 8.30AM AEDT.
Dr Yara-Natalie Abo, Paediatrician and ID physician, Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne will present ‘Vaccines and antibiotics in kids – the impact of childhood immunisations on AMS.’
Sarah Risdale, Advanced pharmacist, and Thomas Clayton, Assistant director, from Queensland Health Immunisation Program will present ‘The Queensland paediatric RSV prevention program.’
Other topics in 2025 include: Aged Care, Allergy, Animal Health, Audit and feedback, Clinical decision support, Dentistry, Environmental, Primary Care, Sepsis, and World AMR Week.
